OSUN HOSPITAL FIRE INCIDENT:PROPERTY WORTH MILLIONS OF NAIRA DESTROYED.

Fire outbreak has destroyed a section of school of nursing and mid-wifery, Asubiaro, Osogbo in Osun state.
The fire incident which started in the noon of Thursday has recked the main Store of the institution without left any of the property untourced.
According Headto the of the school, Dasola Oladipo, property worth millions of naira were destroyed during the incident, “I suspected that the students who are cleaning the environment left fire unquench” She noted
Oladipo said the incident was as a result of burnt refuse not properly put out by the students of the school, adding that medical equipments, mattress and valuable documents were among other items razed by the fire.
Speaking, the state leader of the Operation in the state, Federal Fire Service, Isaac Adejobi lamented on the incident as he cautioned residents on the habit of unchecked refuse and bush burning especially, during the harmattan period.
Adejobi implored Nigerians to always put in place functional first aid gadgets to control fire outbreak and similar incidents.
He called on individuals and government agencies to ensure fire extinguishers is mandatory available in their various homes and offices to stop future occurrence.
He maintained that several fire incidents have break out within the state at various spots as a result of neglence and carefree attitude of some property Owners in the state.
He wanted residents to take precaution and handle fire and electricity in their homes and offices with atmost caution.
In the last view days the number of fire outbreaks continue to be in high side and the expert showed concern about this.
